Research: Spraying Drones Reduce Operator Exposure By 100x

Bayer (Asia Pacific) conducted a comprehensive study to determine spray drift, crop residue and operator exposure while using spraying drones. In this research, you'll learn how operators can use drones to spray fields while removing the applicator from the actual application site. Also covered is a drift study from spray drones.
Interestingly enough, the research found that drones reduced operating costs by 50%, had comparable efficacy but were 30 times faster than manual applications. Further, using drones to spray reduced operator exposure by 100 times.
